Let's spread some musical misinformation

Following on other news Yes has now challenged Yes to ice hockey to decide which Yes is a yes, and which Yes is a no. My money is on Wakeman to swing the match, given his previous experience, and all that assistance his friend Norman Wisdom gave him on how to dive safely. I worry for Anderson, as he is quite slight and not really cut out for ice hockey. His counter proposal of deciding it via a triathalon of tiddly winks, hopscotch, and pooh sticks was not taken up. Rumours are the Wakeman/Anderson/Rabin team will be training hard for this, on a strict regime of diet and mental focus led by Robert Fripp. Toyah Wilcox will be compiling the training montage as a DVD bonus for the next Yes album.
Or the next No album, depending on the outcome of the match.

Composers are snobby by nature and never wanted you to know what notes were used because they consider people a threat to their profession.

It was all so much easier when the notes were not letters, but colours. From lowest to highest - red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet, indigo. All that needed to be done was match colours on the sheet music to the colours on the instrument. Damn musician's union had all that changed to protect their jobs.

this is a bass forum, so it's f clef, so we don't have to face the music.:woot:

Led Zeppelin was originally a Strawberry Alarm Clock tribute band to be called The Grape Pocketwatch.

Paul McCartney was once quoted as saying, “You know, “Hey Jude” is a fine enough song but the day I heard, “Little Miss Can’t Be Wrong” by the Spin Doctors was when I finally knew the sound we spent all those hours in the studio trying to capture actually existed.
Good on the lads.”

“Key Largo” by Bertie Higgins was Jaco’s favorite song.

This is the limit. If one doesn't observe, the guitar is a probability wave. Once observed the guitar becomes a collection of more or less ordered particles and instantly decides whether it 'll be suitable for left- or right-handed players.
