The unfortunate, life changing, typo. His name is Stevie Wander - he often appeared to walk aimlessly before anyone realized he was blind. But, because a less competent secretary heard Stevie wanders about, she interpreted that as Stevie wonders about and assumed she had not heard the subject of his curiosity. Unfortunately, Wonder ended up on the contract and Stevie did not catch the error.
