Yes! Great stuff- I keep a small jar of it in the basement by the tool cabinet. A little dab rubbed into your hands before a gig helps amplify the natural resonant properties of hands that are in contact with an active stringed instrument. Really makes your instrument's tone bloom!
It's a little known secret among symphonic string sections. Hard to find, it's procurable at finer luthiers' shops, and I think you can get it through Gruhn Guitars: Gruhn Guitars

CPS stands for Coolest Professional Series. In between the frets Peltier heat pumps are mounted, in order to efficiently cool the finger board. Ibanez claims strings will last up to four times as long. Any temperature between 15 and 37 °C (59 and 100 °F) can be set.

Make sure you get the right one. There are different types of pine resin; some are better for active instruments, some are better for tube amps. It depends on the tone you are looking for. Your mojo is part of your tone.
