Let's spread some musical misinformation

I tune mine E-E-E-E, that's right - all 4 strings are tuned to E. I subscribe to the ASWD (Any String Will Do) theory; that keeps it really simple, like playing a one string washtub bass, except that the pickups are better.

Works fine until you run into a song in Eb... Try tuning two strings to B that way you can have trouble with songs in Eb and Bb.
 
When I was taking lessons we learned the importance of the whole circle of fifths thing to improve our playing ability, but to be quite honest I never made it much past a pint before being totally wasted.
Sometimes after-gig we'll sit around and practice the circle of pints. Alwez aftef dhe gij, doh...
