Soylent Green Day were originally a Performance Mime Act from Gloucestershire, England, best known for their post-punk interpretation of The Wurzels' "Oy've Got a Brand New Combine Harvester"

After their radio performances attracted serious attention, they tried to break America starting with a tour of California but, in an April Fool's Day joke that went tragically wrong, they were macerated by a Massey Ferguson; the resultant slop being discharged into a polythene lined basket case. Their locally formed support act (originally called "Shirley, You Can't Be Serious" - but that's not important right now) realized that the gig would be a disaster if the headliners were off the poster, so they quickly changed their name in the first known case of Identity Theft.

Although they were serious players, the guitarist - for a bet - ingested copious amounts of their liquefied benefactors and suffered almost instant amnesia, only able to remember the major chords G A B C D E
Sadly, it's a degenerative disease and by the time of recording "Boulevard of Broken Dreams", Cmaj had been forgotten. The other two members work around him, fearful of a lawsuit if the truth is ever told.

There are bills being voted on in 38 states to ban slapping a bass.
(Deemed violent & predatory)

"Suddenly, Senator Liebowitz realizes he has come to the debate without his bill..."

There will be a recount. Several bills went missing, possibly due to a misunderstanding about suggestions of getting one's ducks all lined up in a row, unfortunately the suggestions were made at the opening of the hunting season. Canarde a l'orange canapé, anyone?
