Let's spread some musical misinformation

In 1980 Ringo Starr was arrested and charged with the murder of 9 week old Azaria Chamberlain, the daughter of Lindsay and Michael Chamberlain. their Daughter had gone missing at a camp ground at Uluru / Ayers Rock in Australia during a camping trip in August 1980

When the Chamberlains were questioned by the police Lindsay Chaimberlain maintained that 'a dingo took the baby', but the police thought she said 'Ringo took the baby', so Scotland Yard were immediately allerted and Ringo was arrested and charged with the murder.

He was only released after the Chamberlains saw the news of Ringo's arrest on the TV news and they contacted the police and said it was a Dingo not a Ringo

The real murderer was a dingo playing BINGO on Cinco de Mayo speaking an unknown lino to Daniel Boone and Mingo...... By the way ...Daniel Boone and the Mingos was a band that never got very far and never had a hit record.

People who hear the polished production of the song OMG may be surprised to know of its hurried and completely spontaneous recording.

Will.I.Am and Usher were having a bite in the Taco Bell concession during a Clippers game and Will was struck by the attractiveness of their server. Within minutes, Oh My Gosh had been written on the napkin and Will was pushing Usher to record it. Usher was reluctant as his Apple 5S had no Autotune app, but they discovered (exactly how is unknown) that the ladies facility's combination of tiled walls and frosted plexiglass door provided a similar ambience.

Several takes were attempted, but distant sounds of fans chanting the Clippers' score could be heard and also Fergie, who had just digested a Reaper Ranch Quesarito, was by now banging frantically on the plexiglass door to gain access to the only toilet in the building, which the mic also picked up. In the absence of a drum machine app, Will went with the beat. Will intended to work on the rough draft later but, in her haste to get in, Fergie's stiletto had gone right through the Apple's proprietary cable.

Faced with the only alternative of upgrading to an iphone X and paying for someone in a roll-neck and ponytail to transfer files, Will speed-dialled home and pressed playback with his greasy hands, instantly dropping the 'phone into Taco's deep fat fryer. His Ansafone remains the only audio copy to exist.

Due to the fact that bass players are unpopular and ignored by most people, in some countries, certain laws don't even apply to them. For exemple, the "universal" law of gravity is not that universal, as it doesn't always concern bass players. Here's an exemple of a bass player not being subject to gravity :

It may seem fun, but it really isn't. This has caused many accidents during shows in open spaces, and is the main reason why it is so hard to find a bass player when you want to form a band.

After a lot of painstaking research I can honestly say that everything stated as fact in this thread is, in fact, fact. Sorry guys, but this is a misinformation thread. Can we all try just a little harder to get things wrong? :smug:
Only the best musicians randomly bold and change font size of their words. It can be difficult to detect in singing, but with practice, you can figure it out.
