Let's spread some musical misinformation

Ogden's Nut Gone Flake* ?

* Now available in the extended '99' format.

Come on....everybody knows that a real 99 has a Flake from Cadbury's

Asdfgh is too subtle to stoop to this level, but I have no such qualms. Cadbury's Flake is too large for little kids. Ogden's Nut Gone Flake is for small faces.

in 1969 Neil Armstrong played his Tranquility 4 string Bass on the moon. He also played some Eagles cover music . there is a recording of him telling the world about his bass and the music ... he said " Tranquility Bass is here , and the Eagles have landed! " they charged $16 for people to go see him play, $16 in 1969 money is like 3.5 million today!

iirc, Buzz was pretty annoyed that his whole drum kit was ruled out because there'd be no room for Michael Collins who didn't want to be left behind in Ireland again because of what happened last time.

After some half-hearted percussion, though, Neil played the opening riff to Pretty Vacant (Holiday In The Sun would have confused the 1kb onboard computer with disastrous results) and Buzz spontaneously did the pogo. Then he got drunk and fell over a lot.

A young Malcolm McLaren was watching and offered to manage them. They were turned down by EMI as, apparently, the globules of vomit were still floating around the executive office weeks later and their knighthoods were blown when they were rude to Her Maj.

Mostly Buzz hoped his legs didn't break, walking on the moon.

Elvis Presley, Keith Moon, Rick Gretch and Duane Allman formed an R&B / Death Metal band in Heaven called "The Other siders".
Unfortunately they haven't been able to release any music down to earth, because there is no music streaming service available in heaven that can reach Earth.
Since the 28th of December, 2015 a lot has changed in heaven...

Desert rock (called stoner rock by some) started out as dessert rock. To be considered true dessert rock, all songs had to be about pies, cakes, or pastries. The dessert rock scene in southern California collapsed when one band insisted on writing songs about beef pies and cakes of soap.
Dessert Rock started out like this...
