Let's spread some musical misinformation

Where is the belly button on a double has..?and shouldn't a double bass have 8 strings?

You could tune it mandolin style! G-G-D-D-A-A-E-E
String sellers would approve.

Nobody plays a double bass any more. With the invention of the drop tuner and the B string, the cool kids all play triple basses.

As a space-saving measure, they are also working on half basses, for small stages and vertically challenged bassists.

The actual work on vertically challenged bassists is going slow because they are short staffed.

Non-de-plume - he made pens as 'Gibson'? Did he stop because the nibs kept falling off?
On the positive side, the Gibson Thunderbird pen was developed for the NASA space program. Even in zero gravity, the nib always dived towards the writing desk.

A bass Theremin ... hhhmmm.
Hate to be pedantic, but shouldn't that be "A bass Theremin ... woooooh." ?
