Let's spread some musical misinformation

To boost sales, the Jazz bass is to be rebranded the Jay-Z bass. Taylor is releasing a Swift model. The best Rickenbacker could manage was a tie-in with Justin Bieber, so gave up.
Tim Hortons (Canadian coffee and donut chain) is guiding to a loss on Q4 and the year despite beating expectations in Q2 and Q3. The sudden losses are blamed on the chain's donut collaboration with Justin Bieber.

... but the real reason is the collapse of a deal with Fender, which was based on marketing experts' advice that a donut would make a good mute for a bass guitar.

Yeah, that's not an 'ashtray', it's a snack storage area.
I like - but how do you allow for the loss of muting through the set as you eat the donut? Do you have to order the songs to reflect this? Or do we need a pedal calibrated to offset the effect?

Got it! The amp is bluetoothed to a smart watch which transmits your blood sugar level, and as this rises when you eat some donut it ramps up a muting effect. Now all we need is a manufacturer and a donut sponsor ...

James Brown wrote "I Peel Good" to mock his cousin Louis who was in the Army and was often relegated to potato-peeling duty. Then, Weird Al asked for permission to record his own version with altered lyrics, and the rest is history.
I thought it was written as a his triumph over benign prostatic hypertrophy:

I pee good,
I knew that I would.
I pee good!
I knew that I would.
So good. So Good.
Urinate!
