dunno what the weight of it is but my yahama RBX750A is pretty light. can play it all day and my fingers get sore from playing before my shoulders or back does.

I seem to think my Peavey Cirrus BXP is extremely lightweight although I've never waighed it. My only complaint is I could never get it set up right for tapping.
I have a Turner Renaissance 5 string...35 inch scale, and it comes it right at 5.5 lbs. It's incredibly light. It's disconcerting how light it is!
Yamaha RBX4A2M: 32.5"; 7 lbs. Note: the M is for medium scale. The RBX4A2 is 34" and more than 7 lbs.
Ibanez Mikro: 28.6"; 6.5 lbs.

My Callowhill weighs just over 7 lbs and most all of his basses are crazy light, without chambers! They are almost all made from swamp ash and are also contoured to feel even lighter.
