Has anyone ever done this? Like light the head stock of your bass on fire using lighter fluid or whatever?
P.S. i think this is the right thread?

Two words...Great White. Unless you're outdoors and away from the public, DO NOT USE FIRE in your performance.
I do feel bad for Great White. I saw them back in the day and they put on a good solid rock show. Don't know much about who was to blame for that fire but sadly they were the band playing at the time so their name will be linked to it.
I personally don't see a problem with it as long as you are *smart* about it.. Smart being the key word. That being said I don't think I'd do it.

I mean no one any offense, but this statement alone tells me you are not smart enough to play with this kind of stuff. You're not a pyrotechnics guy, and you risk the lives of everyone in the room when you do this, even if it is a small risk. I know you said you don't "think" you'll do it, but dude - you gotta know you're not gonna do it. It's just not smart or safe.
edit* this isn't a slam on you, man. I promise. it's more of a concern.
