Line6 Pod Go

Yes. I was on my way to get an hxstomp so I could use the Noble model, and saw that the PodGo has an update. And it does include the Noble.
So far, I'm really impressed with it. We'll see how it sounds live.

I've been playing around with it and I think it sounds good, warms up the tone nicely. No need for my Night Owl Edison any longer though I think I still have to work on some frequency adjustments. I've had to pull down the bass below 80 Hz a bit (like with an HPF) because it seemed a bit boomy with the Regal.

I'm super happy that the update happened now. Like you, I almost sold my Pod Go a couple of weeks ago to go with an HX Stomp so I could have the Noble model, but no need now for what I do.

@Chris Breese Did you play with Pod Go 2.5 Update live yet? What do you think of the Regal/Noble after having it for a bit?

I've been messing around with it the past few days and came across "Retro Reel" under the Modulation effects section. I added it in the spot in front of the Regal and found that it helped to achieve the warm/full punchy tone I wanted. It works well in conjunction with the Regal. I've tweaked the settings with this setup on the Pod Go individually for my Precision, my Jazz, and Rick Turner Electroline fretted, and now have a preset (with their individual tweaks) saved for each bass. I've also been experimenting with the position of the Regal in the chain. For some reason, it sounds better after the amp/preamp for my Jazz bass. I'm very happy with the addition of the Regal on the Pod Go!

Has anyone found a good bass-centric .pgp repository?
I kinda want to give it another stab but I also don't want to spend tons of time tweaking settings.
Would love to load up a batch of top rated setups and see if anything works.
Did get some Choptones IR's and patches but never found a set of 4-8 goto setups.

So far, I have really been enjoying the Regal. I have played with the Retro Reel and tried it on a gig, but didn't notice a huge difference. I don't quite understand all the settings for the retro yet, so more experimenting is required. I'm using a Sadowsky ME 5 J bass through in ear monitors. I have an amp on stage, but it's really just for my drummer. I may just go ampless soon.
