looking for transciption gear

i'm looking for some ideas on some transcription gear, the kind where you can listen to a cd and figure out bass lines (slow things down so you can copy it)...anybody familiar with this? i know there out there i just couldn't remember what it was, or where i saw it. need help.

I think you're thinking of the Tascam Bass Trainer. I've never used it but I've heard it's very good.

Tascam has a great product. Pick up Bass Guitar Magazine..It shows you a good one.
