Sorry, but I'm not liking this - I changed it to the Retro style, and it's a little better. I really don't like how all the avatars are now square ... some avatars (like mine used to be) need to be rectangular for the picture to show correctly. It just seemed easier to read before, and I feel like I've lost a friend I've known for 7 years.

Slight work-around if you are at all handy with any kind of drawing/picture program. Make a square box, size your rectangle so the longest dimension hits the sides. Save and Load. Yes, there will be some wasted space and your avatar may seem small.

The powers that be "could" tweak that setting, but it is a bit downstream I imagine while they, on a volunteer basis, plug the larger holes in the dam. They're on it, it's looking better every couple hours it seems.
