Looking good TB.

Can we bring the blue skin back? Looking at everything in white gives me a headache.

Also, is there still the 40 post per page option? Current default is 20 per page.

Wow.

Have we become so inpatient and demanding of instant gratification that changes (albeit major ones) to our favorite hangout happen, that we bail completely? I'm guessing that someone is monitoring what we think and receiving feedback from reasonably critical members and will, in time, attempt to make the new TB a better experience.

Give it and them time.

+1 (million)

Im sure some of the stuff we're requesting is not a cakewalk to do, and what good is complaining? Really?

What is better with the new changes? I find it harder to navigate the site, options I once used here are no longer and it took me more mouse clicks to quote your post with the upgrade than it did before.

All you have to do is hit "reply" next to the post #/Bookmark/Like etc text and it auto-quotes. The big box underneath is like the Quick Reply used to be.

Maybe I worded it improperly. I believe I said they may be attempting to make it better. Its not there yet. I figure TB is engrained deeper in members that have been here since the dawn of time, so change is harder to accept for some. I'm not overly thrilled with change, or the changes here, but I'm willing to give it a lot more than 18 hours before I take my ball and go home.

Is there a way to delete my account? I think I'm done visiting this site.

You could always, ya know, just not return. ;) I never understand why people want their accounts deleted when they decide that don't want to participate on a forum anymore.

I wasn't a fan of the new color scheme, so I switched it to classic; it's much easier to read with that scheme. The only real complaint I have is that I miss the drop-down navigation menu at the bottom of each page. It really made jumping between subforums much easier.

This new format has some nice features. I like the ability to instantly jump to unread posts and the alerts for whenever you are quoted in a thread.

Two. Right click your name on a post you made & click on "find all posts/threads by..."

Actually, right-clicking on your name only gave you the "find all posts by" option. To get to the "threads by," you had to first click on the profile, and then select the profile and then click a separate link.

So, if you happen to be looking at one of your prior posts, it's the same number of clicks as it would have been on the old system. The new system is actually more efficient if you're not already looking at one of your own posts.

No. It used to be you could click on somebody's name and have options of "find all posts by", and, "find all threads started by".

It wasn't until just the last couple/few months that the "find all threads started by" option went away....likely about the same time they started messing with all this new stuff.

Like I said, more clicking on stuff, more digging through menu's, more sifting through crap you don't need just to get something done.

If things need to change because of some technology/nerd changes or something....fine, I understand that. If the "new way" is so much more PITA than the "old way" , I don't get it.

The old emoticons actually conveyed to the reader whether you were making a joke, being smartass, or genuinely didn't like something. The new ones, except for a very damn few, all look like a bunch of arrested development cartoon characters, like you've got a bunch of grownups wearing superman pajama's.....which would be OK except for everyone knows Superman wears JimmyM pajamas.---stupid cartoon smiley here---> :)

Also, purposely put the dash between the colon and the right parenthesis in that post so it would show up as text instead of that stupidass looking smiley but that thing showed up anyway.....I hate that.

It also completely sucks there isn't a "post reply" button at the top of the thread. You have to roll all the way down to the bottom to do it...presumably so you see, and/or mistakenly click on, more ads.

Looks for disgusted frown/shaking head emoticon...can't find it.....
