I couldn't care less about the trophies, but I really don't understand the complaints about the ability to follow people and create newsfeeds. It seems to me that some people may find those functions extremely useful, and those who don't can simply ignore them.

A lot of it for me will be ignoring all this stuff I don't want to see. Apparently you can't sort of customize it and shutoff/disable all the extra clutter.

Looks really great! I went to the retro theme just to get things to line up as I'm a little more accustomed to, but the 2014 theme is just fine too. It's *FAST* now.

I got an Alert just because Febs quoted my post up there.

How do we know if we have a PM? If it comes in that Alert thing, I'll never see it. I have to just ignore that thing if it's going to keep sending alerts just because you got quoted.

Can you set it so it doesn't do that?

I also wish you didnt see photos, like the avatar next to the thread title is to distracting for me including in the classifieds I rather just click it to see photos.

Go through every section of my account and uncheck every box...got it. No, posting about it is much faster.

App is currently down. There is a giant note about it somewhere. Access it with tapatalk (whatever that is) or the browser on your phone.

I got one earlier. There is a tab at the top of the page (at least on the retro version) next to your username that says "inbox". For me it was RED with the number of new pm's.. or "conversations" as they are now known.

There is an editor box at the bottom of each thread page which you can use to reply to the thread without quoting a particular post. The "reply" button at the bottom of each post on the thread is a "reply with quote" button which puts you in the editor with the post you're replying to quoted. Either way, you reply by typing your message into the editor box, but if you want to quote a particular post, you hit the "reply" button for that post. That actually makes a lot of sense. It may take a little getting used to, but there is a logical consistency to it.
