That’s terrible, I have had gear stolen as well, I empathize.

Green burst Carvin B5 with a MM bucker. Came up in classifieds again about a month ago and I missed it.
OG Gibson RD that was trashed but would've been a real player if I had been able to get past it not being pristine.

The only one I regret selling (a little) was a Godin Shifter Classic 4.
Great sound and lovely looking bass with a really nice neck. The only problem was that in warm weather my stupidly sweaty hands would make it gum up and I'd have to wipe it down every song. I'd picked it up for a real steal at just under $400 (Australian) and ended up selling it for $750. I'm sure if I had it back it'd get frustrated by the gumminess of the neck but my eldest daughter still occasionally says that I should never have sold it.

My very first electric bass.. a 60's Silvertone, ordered from the Sears catalog, along with a Silvertone amp head and matching 15" cab.. I used it as a trade-in on a new 1979 Fender Jazz. While I loved the J enough to play it for 40 years, I still regret letting that Silvertone go.

2006 American Series Jazz Bass. Found it hanging on the wall at GC, and felt that it was something special. I asked the sales weasel if he’d give me a good deal since it had a little floor wear, and he did. One of the few basses I’ve bought new.

It was a really great instrument, but I sold it as I was moving to five (and more) string basses.

There are a few...
- My very first bass, a 1985 Pioneer Double J...
- My 2nd bass, a fretless '87 Alembic Spoiler that I got used for $750 and unwisely stripped the finish off several years later. Its ergonomics were not compatible with my physique...But, the tone!
- I had 3 Peavey Cirrus (a maple-top fretted 6, 2 redwood-top fretless 5s). Fantastic playing/sounding, but I couldn't really get used to the 35" scale

My only regret is selling my early 70s Hiwatt Custom 100 head. Not so much because it was a great head, it’s cause the dang things are selling for over $5,000!! LOL!!

My only regret - early 70’s Ric with checkerboard binding, and the cool D’armond front pickup. Traded a late 70s p-bass to get her in 74 and rode her hard for 6 years in a 5 night a week bar/frat band. She went with me all over the southeast through a refret (Rotisounds), a pickup rewinding and to London to record some demos at Abbey Road Studios and back home again for more yoeman’s duty on the southeastern bar circuit. Late eighties came and for some reason I thought I needed a “cooler bass”. Traded her for a Schecter PJ (USA). Nice bass but seriously?!! What a dumbass!!! Anyway, I have become a p-bass/j-bass guy, but boy I miss that sweet Ric!

Mid 70’s burgundy Glo Rick. Maybe some one here has it….I bought an anvil case for it. My dad helped me buy it my freshman year of high school. I traded it for another bass at Rolls Music in Falls Church VA in the mid 80’s.
I really don’t kiss playing it….I play so differently now. But, every time I see someone from the old days they always say “You still have the Rick?”
Sigh……
