Cool cab.. I guess that i am always worried that some of these boxes will be too Upper Mid and tip top highs FORWRAD without enough lows to balance out.. I like balance..Do these have a full low end to pillow that mid driver?

For those in the know, Don and I have yet to decide on a few details of the cab (he's going to call me before he starts building to confirm the stats) and I was wondering about porting. I've been doing alot of reading (barefaced article about ported vs sealed and the eminence article about the same as well as threads here on TB) and was trying to decide on a tuning frequency for the cab to avoid issues.
For those who haven't read the whole way through the cab I am getting is
2 x Eminence 3012LF
1 x Faital Mid driver
1 x Eminence 1001 horn
Box size (estimated) at 32"x20"x16".

I'm confused, maybe I was too vague with my post. I want a ported cab, I was wondering what people would suggest for a tuning frequency. Looking at the fEARful website (even though I'm not using a fEARful design) they use a 45-46.5Hz tuning for their 1212/6 design. I'm thinking this would be a good tuning to still get deep bass but to keep it punchy just looking for other opinions!
I've heard! Don and I are going with an original design though, with a different mid than the fEARful uses. I'm sure the same tuning frequency would be good, just looking for other opinions

Your input in earlier threads (as well as Don's input) is why I'm going with the Faital! You've got some sweet looking cabs.
I have a 12/6/1 from LowDown - excellent cabinet and I have the same spkrs as you (just 1x3012 though). It is a bit larger and heavier than I thought, but I knew the dimensions and weight when I ordered the cabinet, I just did not fully translate that into the real world.
It is the lf and my cabinet is basically a nEARful - that is how I remember spec'ing it anyway.
