Low End Jazz Megathread Part 2

Just purchased my first LEJ!! found it on GC website at a store in Towson Md. The bass is shipping now. Got big plans for it!
Ben wanting one for years! Can I join the club?? :hyper::hyper:

Thanks fellas! The bass came in yesterday! 1 day delivery! kudos to GC and I hate GC! lol.
Anyway, this thing is a total beast! super solid neck low action with no buzz and rich tone. The slap tone is the cats meow! and the bridge pickup tone is milky and warm. The only issue I noticed is that I'm getting a buzzing sound coming from the neck when I play open strings. Anybody know what that is? I will e-mail Brian and see what he says. other than that, what a bass! I know I'm in the honeymoon period but I had to say something about this fine instrument. Got gigs Sat, Sun, and Mon so we will see how that goes...Excited!

Recently purchased one of Brian's new LowEnd PJ5! It has the original PJ configuration. This thing smokes! I'll post pics later. I'm currently waiting on my pickguard to be finish. Also, no pre, just passive. Had a shed session today, me and a drummer. The drummer was enjoying the passive sound, fat punchy and clean. Ran bass through his protools setup with a lil compression and bump the hi's just a lil bit. Man, you could feel this thing in your chest.
