Sorry guys, I should have been more specific. The picture of the bass above is LEJ's latest HB release for Namm and not something I have bought. I currently own HB #1 (pictured below) I just wish I owned HB #2 :) If it plays and sounds like mine, it will be amazing.

As the proud owner of the first LEJ Hollowbody, I fully expect this bass to blow peoples minds at Namm :)

It will completely change the perception that hollowbodies are shortscale, thuddy sounding antiques with baseball bat necks. Theres so much to like about this design. Lightweight, easy to play and it sounds incredible. This is a bass that plays like a lightweight jazz and still pumps out the best of HB tones.

I'm in LOVE!!! :D

This was the highlight of the day at NAMM!

He also brought me a copy of the new Tony Royster Jr. (drummer) New DVD "The Evolution of".... WOW! On the drumchannel there are a few video's with Some cool stuff.

I wonder if a LEJ has ever been featured in BASS PLAYER mag?
My instructor (Jim Lambie)was featured in BP and I think he was shown with his LEJ.

As for LEJ gaining in popularity, I know 4 army bassists that use LEJ (that I know of). Hell the army band in japan has a 7 string LEJ on thier hand reciepts. The bass speaks for itself. High end quality at a good price.

Well, there was a picture of him, but it wasn't really a feature. At least as far as I know. And it was a Modulus he had in the pic....

I'd like to see a review in BP - Brian deserves more attention!

That might be more due to Lambie being in Japan ordering it....The USAF Band in Japan has one on order, but that's because I ordered it.

Speaking of which.....Brian?

OK!!! I traded the LEJ5 Koa with wides for this Relic. The Koa is great, but I always go back to what started it all with the LEJ's. This one has the single coil's in it. I wasn't a big fan, of SC's, at first...but they have really grown on me. Since it's already beat up...I can take it to church with no gigbag! LOL
