i did, but: there's plenty of time to file my claim through paypal, which is attached to a credit card--- and it's going to my business address, the small $ and the protection and isolation is allowing be to remain unfoundedly optimistic.
due in 3 days-- so we'll see. I'm patient.

status update:
- "product" (probably not a bass) delivered today hundreds of miles away
- messaged robhe, no response
- Went to "contact us" on ebay, had them call me, got called in minutes
- Ebay rep actually lived near where the delivery was and understood it was nowhere near me
- Ebay rep opened up claims for each order (bass and strat)
- Ebay gives robhe 3 days to respond.
- If after 3 days there is no response, I am supposed to call ebay again.
- At that point (since I doubt I will hear from robhe), ebay will make a decision within 48 hours about a refund.
hay DJ, you just pee,d on my parade. I just got the notice that I have the refund from daco, then I read your last post. I have the identical time stamps for my order from robhe coming via China Post. But its still in China so I have a glimmer of hope

Until, I saw it got delivered to some mailbox in Baltimore. Then it was this:
lol +1. Had that experience with Musician's Friend, my wife ordered me a Candy Apple Red Fender Duo-Sonic for my birthday in October 2019. Great sale price, $399, only they didn't have any, but a shipment was due in less than a week. Then three weeks. Then a couple months, all the way into March. Then back in February they canceled the order - said they'd emailed twice asking if I was still interested and I never responded. Funny how I never got those two emails even though I never stopped getting their two or three daily "buy something, it's our giant <Insert sale name here> sale!" emails. Tried to get my "gear consultant" to reinstate it, never heard back. Finally called customer service, dude found out that was a custom color made in 2018, they hadn't had any in a year and there wouldn't be any more made. Guess that's a pretty safe sale item, but why bother? It's like bait and switch except nobody ever tried to switch, just left me dangling. There must be some point to this behavior, but I'm sure not seeing it. I missed a couple deals I might have bought had I know the Duo-Sonic wasn't going to happen.

Funny thing is, the last delivery notice email I got from eBay, showed my Portland address and says it was delivered to me, in Baltimore but doesn't show the Baltimore address. It just says that it was delivered to a Baltimore mailbox and a Baltimore zip code, no address.You live in Portland, OR, but you didn't say. Is your mailbox in Baltimore?
