Does anyone have an actual address (or identifiable location) for their delivery? I'd be curious to try to contact them and see if they respond with what they received. I am 100% it is not a bass or guitar. Just curious if there is a connection of any kind. Or just curious. I never said I was normal

Mail Fraud does not apply if nothing was actually shipped thru USPS. They used bogus or stolen tracking numbers.

Yeah, my guess is robhe bought or stole legit tracking numbers from completely unrelated shipments and attached them to his fraudulent transactions.

So, yes something was shipped to an address using a USPS tracking number associated with a purchase I made from eBay. Yes, that is mail fraud as the USPS says, and a case can be made.

While I agree with the general sentiment that the basses aren't coming, everything @pcake says is true and none of the tracking info in that post is evidence that it is a scam. The seller doesn't control the shipping delays and the USPS tracking is frequently unreliable.

So, not so much positive thinking than critical thinking. Just supporting pcake's good thinking. : )

Only to find out at the last that it was delivered to another address in Baltimore MD instead of Portland OR and it weight 0.04 lbs instead of 10 lbs. So yes...

"Out for delivery" is only valid if it's already been delivered to your local area, which should be listed in the tracking details. If tracking says it's in another part of the country and then says "out for delivery" it's not coming to you.

You're right, if we want a cheap but decent bass, a bunch of colors to choose from, $54 dollars or so will do it. I'm actually re-tempted. I have to wait to see how my robhe order goes down beforehand.

I ordered my Glarry Burlywood Jazz directly through Glarry and at this point that's the only route I'll choose. Might be more than $54 but it's going to be the Kia of basses-- solid and uneventful.

"Out for delivery" is only valid if it's already been delivered to your local area, which should be listed in the tracking details. If tracking says it's in another part of the country and then says "out for delivery" it's not coming to you.

On top of that, IF it was something fraudulent pulled on him. One would expect he would want to remedy it, clear his good name and communicate with his customers. He has stopped responding to emails inquiries as to what is going on.

Seems you have to pay $59 to actually get a bass. I really hope Ebay is holding these guys funds. They shouldve caught on by now. Fraud for sure. Delusional if you are expecting a bass imho. Benefit of the doubt is long gone here.

It's fraud, but not mail fraud. There's a distinction.

I'm pretty much with you. I've found the USPS tracking system is really flawed. The last item I ordered arrived two days before its delivery estimate.

And I don't know why this is occurring, why nobody is getting a guitar or a bass. But the fact that I've read at least four accounts ... on two separate forums ... of people getting delivery notices of an item being delivered hundreds, if not thousands of miles away, certainly sounds

I am also lost. The seller DID send something to DJ Bebop, something that weighs 0.4 ounce, a letter or something else that qualified as Small Packet. So would that not be considered mail fraud? Something has been received as there is a USPS note of it.
