Maki's Two Cents (part 5)

Your thoughts?

Best pong variations?

Unless you're talking about something else, when you say Pong I think of the old atari console, which I still have in it's original box. While I haven't played since I was a little kid I do remember there were a lot of variations. Still, while I don't remember many of the variations, I do remember playing the standard two player, two paddle set up with the square ball the most. My two cents. :)

Should I worry about all the chips, scratches and nicks im getting on my $2000 bass?

It really depends on what kind of bass you're talking about. If it's 2k then I'm assuming it's either a used high end bass or a some kind of rare vintage bass. You should worry in both scenarios only if it compromises the sound or proper function of the bass. My two cents. :)

+1 :D

Thoughts on Adam Carolla's departure from his morning radio via CBS sucking? I want to see Adam and Jimmy team up again for something new and Man Show-ish.

I've been a long time fan of Carolla, ever since his Loveline stuff. When Howard Stern shifted to Sirius I switched over to Carolla, and found him to be a nice funny replacement for that void in my morning drive. The show really took off as soon as they dumped Danny Bonadouchebag. I have heard some of his podcast stuff, and found itpretty funny, but I'm not going to waste a lot of time with a podcast. Carolla is a great talent and I'm sure he'll land on his feet. I'd love to see something done with Jimmy, but I wouldn't be surprised to see that he's already working behind the scenes to some degree. My two cents. :)

Beer pong. :)

Maki, ever worked the night/graveyard shift? If so, please relate exp. If no, pls express thoughts...

We used to have a graveyard shift from 10pm til 6am in my lifeguard department. I worked it a few times and loved it. I would imagine working this shift full time would require a few adjustments, with the hardest part being the weekends or your days off and functioning with friends and family on normal sleep cycles. My two cents. :)

Beer pong. :)

Well, you have to be more specific. My favorite way to play beer pong is the kind where you play with sexy models. The best format is yourself and a model on your team playing against two other sexy model chicks. Each person has a cup of beer in front of them. If the ball lands in the cup, the person has to drink it and remove an article of clothing. If you hit it, they just have to take a drink. If you don't have any models conveniently accessible, then sexy chicks, preferably asian chicks will do. Here is a game I was recently playing with some French models I met on the beach. They were good, and the guy standing behind her completely lost all his clothes. This is a grainy picture from my game.

Mr. Star,

What are your thoughts on the topic of primal living, i.e., trying to follow a lifestyle that is "in line" with our ancestors, be it in diet (avoiding processed foods completely, foods not friendly to the human digestive tract, etc.), sleeping habits (sleeping pattern to coincide with the sun), or walking (barefoot or with minimalist shoes)? Is this nothing more than an attempt by people to be eccentric and eat half pounds of bacon in one sitting?

My dad seems to be favoring Torpedo of late. I also saw that he got the Anniversary Ale. Have you tried that one?

While that is a fridge I'd gladly frequent, here is a picture of my fridge. BTW, the Sierra Nevada and the Old Town are both six packs i won from bets. While, i've enjoyed celebration ale, nothing tastes as good as victory beer.
