Back in the day when the Opp Alabama annual rattlesnake rodeo killed and cooked the snakes for the folks who attended, a local TV personality that had a weekend farm show did a remote from the rodeo every year. One year he stood outside the free snake tent and asked people coming out what they though of the snake they'd just consumed.
One guy walked out and Gene asked him "How did you like that fried rattlesnake? Most folks say it's tastes like chicken."
The old guy replied "It might taste like chicken, but it sure don't swaller like chicken."
