Any of you have the rack ears for your LMII and not want them? I'd like to rack mine I guess, but was told by guitar center that they are on back order until November. If you'd be willing to sell me your set, I'll take them.

Are you talkin' to me? If so, if you'll at least cover me for the full purchase price, you can have them. I think I'm going to bag mine for a while, so I can wait.

Oh sorry. I just assumed I said something unclear.

I have a dual UL310 stack on my side, then I drive a remote monitor wedge cab on the other side of the stage. This gives me a primary/secondary zone setup, so they get very good presence, but not dominance, I get all I need on my side, and if I "travel", I don't lose everything. :)

I just use one power amp for all.

RE: rackmount ear kit
I ordered mine from gc 3 weeks ago, and they said at the time that it'd be 4-6 weeks, which would put it at the latest, the second week in october. I hope I don't have to wait another couple of weeks after that.

I'm gonna wait until this weekend, and stop by just to check if they're in yet, but forgot to call me. (one can wish, eh)

semi-related side note....I found the perfect reasonably priced gear hauler....it replaced 3 gig bags (I play synths too, and have a bunch of crap)
At Home Depot (or Lowe's), in the toolbox section, check out the Stanley 22 gallon (i think) toolbox on wheels, made of strong plastic, and has a retractable pull handle, strong lockable clasps, and a removable segmented tool tray on top.
Freaking awesome for everything.

I'll have to wrap the LMII in bubble wrap and throw it in there until I get the ears in.

I ordered rack ears for my LMKll about 2 months ago when I purchased the amp from GC in St. Louis. They finally came in so I went to go pick them up yesterday. Actually I was informed that they've been sitting there for 2 weeks but no one ever called me. I just happened to call to see if they were in. Those are some of the pitfalls of dealing with a mega store. The manager gave them to me at no charge since I had to wait so long to get them and because no one called me when they arrived. They are very well constructed of what appears to be black painted medium guage steel. They look and work great. Very sturdy.

Very cool! I doubt my GC would ever do that...

+1! In fact, I wonder if they're powder coated, but since I won't be turning screws on them at this point, someone else will have to say. ;) Definitely tho, very heavy duty... in fact, I wonder why they are... it's not like they have to support an SVT! :D

Good snag on kev's LMII.

I was looking used before I got mine new and talked to a GC in South FL about tranferring the warranty. Seems you might have to talk to the store where it was originally purchased to get it transferred in their system to send you the warranty info.
