It was cool watching how Sandberg does their thing. It is funny to realize a guy gets paid to beat up a nice bass with a rock!
The DK Sig is a funny idea since MarloweDK is famous for known seemingly every old school funk song ever recorded note-for-note. He is not known for having his own sound.
I'd argue that he DOES have his own sound. Sure, he's gone a ton of playalongs to great funk classics, but isn't that how the majority of us developed our chops and style? By playing along to records we love?
The tracks accompanying the "making of" videos feature his original music. Is he a groundbreaking innovator? No, but he has a good deal of versatility to the different licks and lessons he posts and I think he's developed his own voice on the bass.
