Jeff, would you please you post a pic of your Super 40 with your settings and explain just what you were looking for in the pedal?
My pleasure Miles.

I wanted what the SC-40 did.
And this little guy does it.
If you look at my settings, I’ve got the low end set to where the meat really exists.
The mids and highs are self explanatory.
I only like mild distortion.
So my gain is not set very hot, and I adjust the level to taste.
Lots of tone in this little box, but these settings you see here are basically my ground zero.
But it is working in tandem with my rediculous rig.
So that’s also a factor in how I get my tone.

Looking at a new chorus for bass and eyeing the Golden Ratio. Any chance we can get an updated bass demo? How is the low end loss? Does it clip at all with a hot signal or is there a way to pad the input? I'm looking for a crisp chorus that contrasts with a warm analog type chorus and this seems to really fit the bill.

I'm kind of winding down the Golden Ratio so i don't think there will be any new demos coming out.

Ashly SC-50 Limiter/Compressor clone??

That's so cool. I rocked one of those back when I was rack rigging. I liked it better than similar grade comps I tried from dbx and Symmetrix.

Parallel compression (clean blend) wasn't a thing way back then -- I don't recall it on any of the comps I owned or tried -- but can you pretty please consider adding it to the Super Fifty? :)

Unfortunately the 50 PCB layout and everything is already done.

Second even if it wasn’t there’s literally no space inside to add another pot + blend circuitry 🤪
