He's playing it like a guitar player plays bass, I know plenty of guitar players who could go wild on a bass like that but they still won't be bassplayers, bassplaying comes from inside, you gotta love it and you gotta play bass not low guitar.

Well, it's still limited by having 4 strings, so he should have added a couple more. And then, it's still limited by being tuned so low, so he should really tune it up an octave higher.. then he might have something interesting!
