Math's Midori Green '51 Precision-MM (green headstock inside)

Did you really mean 2 'cans' or rather 2 'coats'? Hehe.

I'm using Duplicolor acrylic enamel primer, which was recommended to me by the folks at the auto paint store. It's nice but it doesn't build up very quickly. I know I need to sand out the orange peel, but right now the surface isn't peely, it's more kind of gritty because the clear did not cover the metal flakes completely. It took nearly the whole can to do the first 3 light coats and 2 heavier coats. Need to go buy some more.

I'm going to give it some more coats of clear and see what happens. I figure I can't really put too much on anyway.

Here are some more mock-up pics.

What do you guys prefer, with or without PG ???

Thanks for the advice, guys.

Warmoth doesn't sell B/Mint/B, and they claim their guards are the only one that will fit their bodies... Oh well. I'm kinda wishing I had gone for a B/W/B or an all-black, but I think the red adds just a touch of color without being overly noticeable. So it'll do for now. Tort might have worked too, but I'm not a big fan of tort guards.

Don't expect any updates for a little while now, as I am in the process of building up coats of clear. Next pics : finished, polished body ready to receive shielding, electronics and hardware.

Hey guys, can anyone identify this pickup?

I was told it was a stock stingray pickup when I got it years ago, but I'd like to know if anyone can confirm, or tell me what it really is.

On all Stingray pickups I've seen on the Internet, you can see the pole pieces sticking out of the back, and they don't have the two magnets my pickup has?
