Mayones owners club.

How are you finding your bass? Saw one at my local shop this week, but didn't have time to play it. Pretty keen to go back and check it out.
I like it a lot! It's my main bass. I like the neck and the tonal options I get out of it, in particular a "twangy" J bass bridge pup sound that cuts nicely through the mix.
Feel free to hit me with more specific questions, but you should definitely take her for a test drive if you have the chance!!

Just got this bad boy. The video made on this particular bass a couple of years ago pretty much sums it up. Yes, it's as good as they say in the video!

I had a really great gig yesterday with my MBC5 Gothic Slogan. I have had her a few years now but the intense love affair continues.

Love the Stealth look of that one…
My Patriot hangs on the wall in my studio and I was practicing for an upcoming show last night, so I pulled it off the wall and played it for about 2 hrs. That neck is so thin and just plays so nice, such great basses!

Mine’s about 10lbs but balances so well it doesn’t feel like it. What’s yours weigh?

I really love the Patriot model. My Slogan is pretty small(Not sure if it's smaller than a Patriot). It's definitely smaller than a Mayones Viking. She only weighs 7.75 LBs.

Talk to me about the patriot.

I'm looking at a fretless 5 with snake wood fingerboard. How is it? My only reference would be a NS Design CR 5 Radius that I had.

Any opinions are welcome.

That one above looks quite amazing!

Mine is not fretless, but is an awesome bass. The body is thin with a scalloped back… the Wenge neck feels great and is very similar to my custom shop Thumb with narrow neck that is thin front to back and 18mm string spacing that doesn’t really feel that wide. Honestly feels similar to my Thumb with a bit wider string spacing. Mine is a bit on the heavier side with the Ash, Wenge, and Padauk but because of the smaller body, scalloped back and balance it does not feel heavy. Quality, fit and finish are high and on par as you’d expect.

I added the ramp, not standard for that model.

My Patriot MR Fretless arrived and it is literally one of the best basses I have ever had. Incredible in every way, I am so happy. Here it is with my others.
Rob Allen Deep 4 and Deep 5 along with the Ibanez which I upgraded with a Bartolini preamp and it is quite nice, especially in it's price range.

Wow, you’ve got some serious consistency going on there across multiple brands - love the F holes on all… very cool!
