ME WANT: Dingwall Lee Sklar Candy Tangerine

Have you gotten tired of PM offers for it yet, Tom?

I know that I'd had my Zebra/Voodoo for less than a full day before I started to get PM's demanding I sell it to them. Some people really thought they had a chance. ;)

Hey, wasn't I one of the people who PM'd you multiple times on that one? :smug: :p

So, you ready to sell it to me yet? :ninja:  :D

Doh!... I was hoping to ask you about the different pickup combinations. Do you happen to know which pickup(s) you were using?

Well I'm assuming that the two pickup combination that you posted in the OP is the Z-2 which is what I played. I had my electronics set to both pickups on full with flat eq except a small bass and mid boost. I was playing out of a Markbass 4x10 cab, and it reminded me if my Ibanez BTB, but much much higher quality. I thought the bass had some serious punch to it.

 That I posted?

Did you choose to have both pickups in series or in parallel?

I own Tom's Prima Artist and I am MOST happy with it

Even though it's not the exact picture of the exact Dingwall (need to reorganize my photo library) here is a picture showing the wood transition/joint

Then it's not Toms? Its not a straight line join...

Here you go! :D

I thought I had one showing the end of the bass, where you could see the transition from walnut to alder, but I can't find that one.

Man, I do miss that bass. :bawl: It was ooooh, so nice! Of course, this one helps me get over it! :D

It's one of my Dingwalls (I own some Dingwalls, from what I've heard ;) :ninja::ninja::ninja:)

Tom's Prima Artist has been with me for a long time now (in fact just got back from a rehearsal with it).

I will try to get a close up picture to show the join

Whoa, I've never been a fan of the burly grains, but THAT is deadly good looking right here!

And hey crazy bald head, we are way overdue to rattle some rafters with the new toys (you gotta try this Karl Hoyt!).

I've actually got a little down time in the evenings the next few weeks. Hit me with a PM and we'll see what/when we can fit in!

Sounds good! I have some stuff happening but can certainly make some time too. I'll be interested to check out your new set up, and I'm holding a double fEarful rig these days too...
