It should be fine, are you sure the sound guy didn't have subs eqed out completely?
So I tried hooking up the TRS patch both ways. And I'm still getting an effected signal through both the patches outs to my rig. I'm confused.......
Maybe I got the wrong patch?
You got a splitter, not an insert cable. The splitter sends the stereo to both places. You want one where each output is different.

@gregmon79 if you want something smaller:

This is the one I want. Thanks! Now to go search.
I was thinking of this one too but I like the idea of the female ends on the tip and sleeve.
You can always also get a cheap 1/4 to 1/4 female-female adapter.
So I ordered this. Thanks again Digiman. So which will go to the DI and which to the next pedal in line?
If the Meatbox is bypassed then both the Tip and Ring output your dry unaffected bass signal.
"It all starts with a cable" should be your signature quote. Humble, reasonable, and truthful.Got this one as its right angle, decent length and good quality.Ill use it when I'm using a sub (that I'm saving up for to get in the near future). Dream big! It all starts with a cable
