Got this one as its right angle, decent length and good quality.Ill use it when I'm using a sub (that I'm saving up for to get in the near future). Dream big! It all starts with a cable
Oh snap! Where you find that!?

What I meant to ask but didn't do a good job of was this; If the Meatbox is not on will the sound of your normal bass signal be muddy because the type of speaker is a subwoofer as compared to a regular bass cabinet?

Amazon.com: Hosa Cable STP201RR Insert Cable Right Angle - 1 Meter: Musical Instruments
They also sell a bunch of straight ones of various lengths. Not sure if this is the only length for a right-angled one (I have one too).

Thanks. They're out of stock now doh!!
I think I'll be able to make the one I just rec that Digiman put out there. Should work great.
This might happen to me as well, althoug I love the octamizer.Meatbox has officially retired the Octamizer. It tracks a little better and sounds less synthy.
But have you tried both together?
And now my link is changed again!

Same on other Forum sites. It's the automatic BBCode link parser I think. It converts it into something that is not static at Amazon.
I guess it would depend upon the sub. Anecdotally, I've been using the Meatbox with a separate 2x15 cab, and I now love the sound of the additional cab with or without the Meatbox. I wouldn't call it "muddy" but I'd definitely call it bigger sounding!![]()
Will you add an 18" later? Do you have a different preference in speaker size? I went to the local Crutchfield but they don't carry any in store to demo out. All the Guitar Center's that carry JBL woofers are 2 hours from me. Been waiting on the right day to take me to D.C. or Richmond for a show to go try some out before I make a future purchasing decision.
So, I currently have a Peavey Tour 450 that I never turn up more than halfway because that's just silly.
I'm thinking of stepping down to something smaller but idk how the Meatbox will sound.
What are you guys running, and what would you suggest that would play nicely with the Meatbox?
Currently considering an Ampeg Micro VR since it has a lot of what I would love to have as a practice/recording amp.
I don't need super loud but I'm afraid I'll lose headroom if I go to something with less power.
Eventually I plan on moving to having a dedicated powered sub of course but that is a long ways away.
That's the 212 500w combo right? I was looking to get that before I went with my Avatar cab and Peavey amp!I've got a GK MB212, I'll try it out CAREFULLY in a few hours and report back.
BTW I tested it with the Chillswitch, I had to dial the Meatbox output to about halfway otherwise I could still hear trace Meatboxiness while muted...! Too powerful for the circuit I guess.
Yup! My only complaint is that it leaves me so much space that I have to haul everyone else's gear too. That's the 212 500w combo right? I was looking to get that before I went with my Avatar cab and Peavey amp!
