Well... how was it originally determined that the Walkabouts would perform well at 2 ohms? Was some pioneering TB'er willing to risk blowing his amp up to find out?
If so, we're gonna need a new pioneer!

The 2 ohm deal is important to me...

I have also been pumping them to make a 2-channel amp kind of like this. My idea was a 600+ watt head with two channels (preamps all the way to the tube/ss drivers), one of which would be basically a Walkabout front end, and one of which would be basically an M6 front end. Both great flavors of Mesa/Boogie bass tone in one convenient package!![]()
