Mesa 750, 6x10, and powerhouse...

sounds great, big almost too loud for most places anymore, seems that bars don't like music as loud as the used to.

i will probably be selling it very soon.. :(

Seems like I'm halfway through your rig. Had a BB750, and yesterday I tested and bought a Powerhouse 610 cab to go with it. I should be getting it tomorrow. :D

Here's the rig I used last night; tho it's parked at home here.
Walkabout head, two older Diesel 115 cabs, both re-loaded with eminince kappalite 3015's (both cabs came to me with either dead or bogus speakers)

i found that the BB750 sound so much better running at 2ohms... i cant explain it.... even the techs at Mesa agreed.

i think the 6x10 sounds fuller than the powerhouse...
But the powerhouse's sound develops further away and man it is unbelievable at 30 feet...

but my rig is still too much for the bars i am playing at... i want to get rid of it and have the money to spend on other cool gear but i am having trouble parting with it because it sounds so damn good.

Its amazing what a little flat black spray paint will do for the looks of a speaker grill. hahaha

hah, i called and recommended it a while back and emailed them my pixs... didnt work i see.

It makes it much more pleasing on stage as well..

i'm pretty sure im gonna put the powerhouse on ebay this week... it will probably local pickup only which will probably kill my selling chances.... oh well.. it has less hours than the 6x10... we will see.

BTW.. go ahead and spray paint them you wont be sorry, they take the paint really well...looks even better in person
