I took some cool photos of all my bass stuff on the weekend. I filled my lounge room with, fender jazz & precision, flea modulus, mucisman, mesa 400+ and my four mesa cabs and goup of pedals.
I love looking at it all in one big pile and my wife was having a good day and acepted my invitation to dress up like a dirty skank and pose with my bass! All my favorite things in one picture. Id like to show you guys but i dont know how to post pictures. Any help would be good.

Well, this sounds promising.:D If you're uploading the pictures from your computer, just click on the paper clip icon above the message box in your reply, and go from there (watch the maximum file sizes, which are listed). If you're uploading from a photo hosting site, click on the yellowish icon and paste in the URL.

The best way to post lots of big pics is with using off-site photo hosting, such as: http://photobucket.com/.
(Its free and easy)

You can also post a few small pics (as attachments) through Talkbass photo hosting.
(Max Width/Height is 640 X 640, so you may have to re-size your pics first)

I got to jam a USA Decade through an M-pulse 600 (best head ever) and powerhouse 1x12.

That sounded really really unreally.
I've been looking for someone who can give some feedback on the Powerhouse 1x12. Haven't heard much other than the BassPlayer review saying it was "burly" tone wise (i believe was the word). How did you find the tweeter? smooth? a bit harsh ? How about the speaker what tone range does it favor? Low-mid? any comments apprectd.

Let me put it this way, Rex: I like the rig a whole lot--especially the 400+--but it definitely comes in second.;) Congrats to you on, well, everything! Consider yourself fortunate.:)

It sounded good enough that I just bought two of them :D

I just have shop demo experience so far but it seemed to have a balanced, warm, fat, squishy sound with nice presence and thickness. Somewhat like the Aguilar GS, but with a little bit faster response and a slightly different tone (a bit more assertive maybe).

I'll have a pair here in a week or two to put beside my GS112s and shake it out more.

The tweet sounded killer on them.

I look forward to your comparison to the GS's. I always thought those Powerhouse 12's offered a lot for the money. $479 correct ?

Thats the retail price, though I found a pair used right here on TB :hyper:

The real bang for the buck is the 4x12 at just over $1000, but I have really grown to love the 12" mini-stack thing. They're immensely easier to carry than a big 2x10, and the pair is immensely more capable than a single 2x10. I carry one of those little GS's in each hand.

The powerhouses and aguilars are about the same price, about the same weight, and about the same form factor.
