Mesa/Boogie Titan V12 megathread!

I would add the second 2x12. You will never go back! 4x12 @ 4 ohm is getting all 1200 watts from the Titan. It crushes.
I replaced the Titan with 8-6650's and 4-12Ax7's all wrapped up in the awesomeness that is a Marshall VBA. But even that may be transient depending on how the Strategy turns out.

My dreams of having the Titan V12 are dwindling.
My local guy who has an NOS, or demo black face if you will and won't blow it out.
Wants 1,499. short on dough right now.
Still love my M6, just knowing what that Titan sounds like is driving me crazy.
If the M6 only had 4 tubes on the front end of it instead of just one, i'd be satisfied.

Mine sold for 1200 shipped with head case, covers, foot pedal etc. 11-1300 seems to be the going rate.
Yeah, that seems to be the deal out there if you can grab it in time.
Been rethinking my whole power/pre thing.
May just pick up a Demeter all tube pre and put that in place of the Tech21 RPM.
That would be very different from the titan. Closest pre to the titan would probably be alembic or ampeg ... and even those are not that similar. Why not look into a used mesa BB750?

That is an option i'm considering, i may just get a very good power amp and use the Tech21 RPM as my pre.

If you really mean weight doesn't matter, get a crest CA6 or CA9. But really, i suggest saving your pennies and/or selling blood and semen (not mixed together) until you can get a titan. Anything else will leave you wondering

Curious about the low end of the CA9, hear it's a real monster.
Is it to much low end?

Im new to the forum this is my 1st post and i just wanted to say hello and talk about my titan, ive owned it for over 3 years now, silver face no problems, love it to shreds
I run a Warwick $$ through a Sansamp RBI into the Titan and Mesa 610
I was hoping to get some feedback on a few things if anyone would be kind enough to help me out ild really appreciate it
1st im looking at purchasing an Orange OBC115 8ohm cab for practice so i dont have to lug the 610 around each weekend, the 610 is rated at 4ohms only so i was wondering what would be the ultimate way to use both cabs in a live situation, do i run both from the speakon outs on the titan at 4/8ohms? run the 115 from the slave? or run the 115 from the out on the 610?
and 2nd i play metal/hardcore, is there anyone else out there that uses the sansamp and the titan who could suggest some settings? personally i like to use the sansamp with little drive and full blend and then use the mesa to add the mids and the dirt so shes still fat with a bit of drivey grind
