Mesa Boogie Walkabout Mega-thread Part 10

Nice sound and playing wateroftyne. What are you using to get into your computer? The sound through my Beyer Dt770s is outstanding!

Thank you!

believe it or not, it's just the crappy on-board mic on my Canon point'n'shoot. That's why it's clamping down hard when I play the E.

I'd normally dub the audio from my Zoom recorder, but it's broken :-/

Got caught watching Fried Crawdaddies on my office computer today. Strictly against company policy... but it was *totally* worth the lecture from the IT nerds.

(with apologies to any IT nerds here on the WAMT) :p

Hello!

it's just a track I found on Wikiloops. It's a good one, isn't it?

Yes - I've been looking for something like that to work with. I figured there must be such a thing but didn't know where. Free download? Buy a few different grooves?

@Chef - I'll ask later. Sometimes it's best to just nod in agreement with those fellas. ;) FCD looks like a fun gig man.

Can't remember if I posted this or not.

I finally found the cab I had been looking for to go with my Walkabout. These don't come up used very often. I gotta say, the PH215 is so efficient that the WB just roars. Not as portable as a pair of 112's but there is some serious booty shaking going on with this setup.

I've used so many different cabs with my WA. Even the crappy cabs sound good with the WA. My 2 favorite so far are the Fearless Dually and the Barefaced 69er. I have a Fearless F212 on the way, and I think that will take care of it for me for sometime.
The 215 is definitely a great match.

I just got my new Walkabout and I just love it!!!
I'm on a world tour with my band Royal Hunt and it sounds amazing. We have a lot of flying dates so I just put the Walkabout in my carry-on. Here a picture of my rig from a few nights ago. The cab is a backline rental but the head is mine. I also use the Flux Drive and they sound amazing together!:)
