Can anyone compare the CN212 to ML112 esp when playing thru a WA?
Have my heart set on the ML112, and will prob pick one up today. This is just last minute double checking....

Today I stacked the ML112 on the NX2-212T in the living area. Gain=noon, master=11, eq flat.

Yup...I can attest that the WA hits pretty dang hard with 3 12's. I almost never ended up using all 3 in my situation, but boy did it sound and feel good!
Has anyone tried loading a PH-12 into their WA Scout?

I'm thinking a CN212 paired with one of my HD112's may be a pretty sweet combination. It works real well with my HD210. And the CN212 is the same footprint as the HD112. Mmmmmm??? That would cover just about any situation I'd run into.

ha, I have this capability now, but I have never really thought to do it. No need really with the WA driving the CN212.
Someone refresh my memory on ohms and multi cab loading/power distribution:
if you run the WA with a 4ohm CN212 + 4ohm WA 12 cab, you will be running the WA at 2ohms (which I have done many times in the past) and getting approx 485-500w from the amp.
I think there could be an issue with the WA 12, as I'm guessing it will effectively handle about 160w (Mesa rates them at 300w) before reaching it's useful limits. The CN212 OTOH is pretty honestly rated at 700w and 104db. So, I think there might be a power handling mismatch between the two cabs with this set-up.
Now another CN112 on top of the CN212 - whole 'nother thang.

We're all a little crazy... but in a very good, though often expensive way. I'm becoming a headroom junkie hanging around here.
Fortunately, two Scouts have me covered, since the only drummer I gig with is pretty sensible. Sometimes I wish he would get a little more heavy-handed.

yes, indeed, I have done it many a time myself. I know from experience that the WA handles operating at 2ohms with no electrical or heating problems, but I do seem to recall feeling that it got kind of squishy when pushed at that load. That's one of the reasons I moved away from using 2 4ohm WA/Scout cabs in the first place .. and replaced them with the much more robust and efficient CN212.
So, the Berg CN112 is a 8ohm cab ? .. makes sense given that the CN212 is 4ohms.
I know this topic has been covered on TB before, but bear with me and help me out with the per cab power question. If I run a 4ohm 2x12 + an 8ohm 1x12 using the WA power ratings at 2.67 (which I seem to remember is something like 425w) what will I be sending to each cab ? Given the different resistance, I already know that they won't each get 212.5 watts. And the overriding question is, would it really be worth it to do so.

Agreed (assuming each driver has the same impedance which is a safe bet here).
The 1x12 would get 1/3 of the total power, the 2x12 2/3 of the total power. (all with a big "ish" at the end).
