I should say that -- before I bought mine -- I saw a number of Scout 12 combos on eBay for *around* $750.
With that said, I picked mine up for a good deal under that. So good deals to be had, especially on older ones.
If only these walkabouts weren't so darn rare/insanely expensive over here! ive been wanting to try the head with my berg HS410 for a while now to compare with my Orange AD...if it is a tubey as its reputation indicates id ditch the orange and get on the walkabout!
Who am i kidding..id keep the Orange and get the Mesa too! just need to find one to try....
How are these magnificent amps combined with a "analytical" cab like a Glockenklang TakeFive?
the 15, like your cl link, can be a little overly fat sounding sometimes...but, there's plenty of eq to fix that, generally.
the 15 is also on the large side for a combo, it's schleppable, but, not as nice as the 12, in that regard.
