I'll echo Chefs experience as well. I've ran it hard all night long at 2 ohms. My Radiator 12 is indeed a 4 ohm version as is the combo I have. I removed the back cover off of my combo to help keep it cool though....

The early owners manuals stated minimum load 2 ohms, but, they haven't for a while.
So, it's "at your peril," but, plenty of us run them this way still.

The manual that came with mine from only a few (5) months ago stated 2 ohm minimum but 4 ohm recommended. I can't remember the exact wording but I do remember thinking it was worded well enough to cover any warranty issues that might arise from running at 2 ohms.

Well, I brought the Walkabout mounted in my Scout 12 cab that I got from lofo to my weekly Tuesday gig. I put a GK NEO 112 II in the trunk just in case. It never left the trunk. The Walkabout Scout was more than enough. I only had the gain at 10:00 and the master at 9:00 or so. It really kicked out some fat low end. After using the Walkabout head with the GK's and with an Epifani PS210, I thought the Walkabout really seemed to get the sound of the Walkabout so to speak. Perfectly matched!
I was pleasantly surprised not just with the volume but also how fat it was for such a little rig. I do find it a bit awkward to carry with that handle on top. Except for that, I could not be happier!

It's an awesome little beast isn't it? Glad you liked it. The WA does sound great with every cab I've used it with, but the Scout 12" is really a magic li'l cab imo
I think I like Lofo MUCH better than Lomo.....can I change

Sold my Orange BT500 and picked up a used 4 ohm WA. If they sell extension cabinets that are 4 ohm, they have to support running it at 2 ohm. Mesa can't expect people to pay for an 8 ohm replacement speaker for the combo and then find a 8 ohm extension speaker.
