Mesa M9 mega thread

Well, I run mine with a couple of 90´s diesel cabs. Sounds plenty fine, and will probably kill any Ampeg when I get my second 1x15 soon! I like my sound both phat and edgy, voicing and eq depends on what kind of music, what venue and what volume I´m using!

I just took the plunge and bought one. I think I peed myself a little when I turned it on.

Seriously, before I put it in my SKB 2u rack and take it out to gigs, do I need to be concerned about any of the fail issues I've read here? I always have my DI to run to the board as a backup, but how concerned should I be?

Also, I bought it used. What do I need for the transferrable warranty?

Thanks.

You're supposed to have the original receipt, but I bought an M6 combo used without the receipt so they gave me a 5 year warranty from the date they shipped in from the factory which gave me a year or two. If you give them a call with/without the receipt you can probably get at least some warranty.

The new MV5PJ should be here mid-next-week.
And, my 1951 P5 re-issue should be back from Regenerate next week, from having a preamp installed...

that is all;)

"why not?"

For me, two reasons:
-I don't want to move it
-that's waaaay beyond "I need earlpugs" territory.

However, I were lucky enough to land A Big Dog Touring Job that required that sort of thing, I reckon I'd get over myself;)

Just because you can dismount the windows from every room in the house, doesnt mean you have to. Im sure at low volume, you know right where its starts to sound really good, you can still enjoy it without having to repaint the house. Gotta love having that much headroom.
