Wow! There's a resounding thumbs up to the 412 cab!
I'm thinking that's the way I may go now! And, it's cheaper than the 410+115. I wonder why that is.
This will complete my trifecta of rigs (minus combos)....
SVTCL + SVT810E
400+ + PH412
SVT-3PRO + SVT410HLF

Many do give the 1000/1200 cab a bad wrap and perhaps they are making some good points. The 4x10 and 1x15 combo is hardly ever praised on here, however who's knows if it works out for you then by all means if it is what you want then you should get it. You can read all the comments and reviews you want, but it is you who makes the final decision. I a guy who has a 1200 and he loves the cab and when he plays live it does sound pretty good to me.
+1 here. I've been playing a PH1200 for a few months now and it sounds pretty huge to me. I've also got a PH410 which I use for smaller, lower volume gigs. I try to run a super clean setup(Aguilar Tone Hammer Pre/Crown XLS 1500 PA. the only distortion I get is from my Dlx Big Muff Pi) and the PH1200 has not let me down yet. I may invest in the 412 later, but for now, for me, the PH1200 has delivered the goods every weekend for the past 3 months...Get what works for you.
