Nice! I am glad to see that more and more amp manufacturers are producing these DI pedals. It's becoming obvious to me that these DI pedals are to amps what the laptop is to the desktop computer. There appears to be an ever-increasing trend in favor of portability with regards to bass musical equipment. Especially with so many venues refusing to allow bass players to bring their own rig and requiring them to go through the house only.

The block diagram shows limiting diodes after the gain stage. I'm sure they're mainly there for overload protection but they will clip like a distortion pedal. So that's interesting.

I'm fighting so hard preordering it. I don't need it but I also don't-don't need it.

Just close your eyes and take the plunge...not only do you get a cool new toy, but others get to live vicariously through you...think of it as doing something good for your fellow bass players and the act will feel much more noble! Just a thought, not a sermon.

I've been rocking the D800 since they came out and I LOVE the pre. This think this DI will rock a lot of peoples worlds.

Edit: and it's $229 bucks.... this is ridiculous.

I'm typically a Mesa guy, but it's hard to have regrets about something as good as the TH pedal or amp. I like a little variety and the TH offers a nice option.

Oh man, this is cool. I wanted the D800 but could never afford it.....but now, I can put this thing into my streamliner's poweramp and have a freaking D800 ( so to speak ).
