Mesa Subway Bass DI Preamp

Nice! I am glad to see that more and more amp manufacturers are producing these DI pedals. It's becoming obvious to me that these DI pedals are to amps what the laptop is to the desktop computer. There appears to be an ever-increasing trend in favor of portability with regards to bass musical equipment. Especially with so many venues refusing to allow bass players to bring their own rig and requiring them to go through the house only.

It would be perfect if they added an effects loop, tubes, expression inputs, a Big Muff, foot switch, a power amp, tube powered headphone amp, more footswitches, a drawer for your picks, another drawer for your weed, a hazmat suit and lye to dispose of patient zero, and another footswitch.

...and a cup holder with an integral cooler.

....and a cigarette lighter. There's NO CIGARETTE LIGHTER on the pedal?!??!?! That does it, I'm not buying one.

Holy hell someone needs to talk me down.
Just close your eyes and take the plunge...not only do you get a cool new toy, but others get to live vicariously through you...think of it as doing something good for your fellow bass players and the act will feel much more noble! Just a thought, not a sermon. :D
