I loved my Mesa D800 so much, I placed a Mesa Prodigy logo into the front of my custom pedalboard I built. I checked consistently on them coming out with a true bass pedal and am completely determined to purchase this new Subway DI! Plus it will fit nicely on my PB!
It will? Looks like you'll maybe have to swap something out for it to fit.
I will have to rearrange, but this pedalboard has two levels. The upper level is hinged, so there is room for about 6 more pedals on the covered level.

'Have mine on order at Sweetwater. Alan stated shipping early December. This should be a bass combo killer. 'Just plug into a powered PA cab (or 12!) and you are good.
Mesa Hollywood says they're expected on the 18th of this month! Beats December!

This thing comes at an interesting time for my rig. I wanted to make a simple jam/gig board.
A PT Nano, a volto, tuner, a bass distortion, and a DI. I have the nano, volto, tuner and the distortion but the DI choices are endless.
I was literally going to buy a cheapo passive DI and call it a day.
But then this Mesa came along...and then I just played a Meatsmoke pre the other day...and people like @dunwichamps exist where the sky's the limit.
And nevermind that I haven't gigged in a year...

Mesa Hollywood emailed to say they'll be shipping this week. Looks like my Vulcan XL will be getting some competition!

I contacted the seller on reverb. His shop hasn't received them yet. Preorder. So far no one has them yet. Sweetwater didn't give me a definite answer. The guy said his records still show Dec. 1st. I also contacted the local music shop/mesa dealer and havn't heard back yet. I do not want to tie my $ up in a preorder so as soon as a seller physically has the preamp for sale I shall strike like a fierce cobra lol.

Yeah, my guy at sweetwater has said December when I ordered the preamp. Then he called yesterday to tell me the 800+ heads were in stock. I told him about the mesa store saying they would have them in stock tomorrow. If sweetwater gets them in by Monday or so, I'll get it from them. If not, and Mesa has them, then I'll go right to the mother ship.
Ordered! Mesa Hollywood shows them as in stock. I've been going full DI at rehearsal and am transitioning to full DI at indoor gigs. I'm very excited! I hope this to be the best sounding and most useful bass tool I've owned to date. I've wanted Mesa to get a player in the bass DI/Preamp game for so long! This is gona be great!
The one thing I'm wondering about this preamp/di; is there a built-in cab sim? I don't think its been mentioned anywhere?
