Even just a nice flat bottom for a couple of strips of velcro there, and a lack of venting above that could be wedged in with foam so it can never fall out. It'd be cool if a little Subway head had multiple mounting options for owners of different combos to reload.
Lots of empty Mesa combos floating around, Markbass/SWR/GK combos with bad amps that have a low power limit.
Figure orientation will put controls in a direction a player can reach.
If lunch box sized gaming PC enclosures can passively vent 600w of component heat and amp would be fine.
Take a Mac mini or MacBook pro passively radiating off 200w cpu thru slits while the other components draw head from every crack
I'm hip to that, I'm just picturing a bass amp like that hence, I was laughing. There’s a whole hobby focused around cramming pc parts into a passively cooled smallest case possible.
It’s the opposite of overclocking.
Subway 15 is 4-5/8 inchesNot to derail the thread, but here is a Mesa question and I didn’t know where else to ask it other than starting my own thread. BTW Mesa support is closed Fridays.
Can someone who owns a Subway 115 or 112 tell me the size of the Mesa Engineering logo, measured end to end horizontally? I think they are the same size.
The 215 logo is too big for my liking and I may order a smaller one for it. Thanks!
Here’s what I’m talking about.

Thanks so much! I made these mock ups to help me imagine how it would look. I'm kinda getting used to the big logo now that I've been looking at it for the last week. Still not sure if I will replace it but thanks for the response.Subway 15 is 4-5/8 inches
Thanks, that's kind of what I'm thinking too. My first thought when I saw the 215 was what a massive logo. I'm leaning toward the middle top position. (first picture)The smaller logo is far more elegant (not in your face) looking.

Nice!
I also like smaller logo's on gear whenever possible. I'm happy to show the world the gear I like (Mesa, Fender, Bergantino etc... ) but I don't like it when a builder goes for bigger logos. Another example of this is the Bergantino cabs. The original and 2nd gen Berg logo was certainly visible, but the latest "big script" version is definitely not my favorite feature of otherwise stellar cabs.
I don't think the M3 or M6 sold well. I'd be surprised if there were over 50 of each produced. A walkabout v2.0 would be cool.
Which is a shame. My M3 is probably the only amp I regret selling.
