Meshuggah tone with katana

I mean, probably more about bass/setup. He plays Warwicks, right?

The bass and strings will be as much a part of it as the amp so make sure that's in order first. Which era of Meshuggah are you looking to replicate?
that's a rather strange combination to mimic a 5-string warwick dolphin pro 1 tuned to drop Ab.
the F1 note, you're having as your lowest is actually the lowest string for their guitars, not basses.
I think that is only the newest album on the other albums he tunes to the same octave of F.
I haven't kept up with them too much but a lot of their stuff has the lowest string of the guitars and bass tuned to the same pitch, not an octave apart. Sounds weird in principal but it works well to give low tuned guitars a little more definition and sidesteps the problem of trying to get a bass tuned nearly an octave lower than normal sounding good.

With your setup, the Boss Katana will be the focus: I'd suggest trying a Boss Katana group on FB or Reddit?
Beyond that, are you looking to approximate the tone or replicate? Approximate, cool, chase it! I'd second @WG Plum's suggestion to try a Darkglass pedal. To replicate, you may reconsider your setup and to closer replicate Meshuggah's bassists setups: Active electronics w/ a pick, low tunings (see video above for bass tunings (7:00).

As shown in a video of a Rig rundown - he also uses pedals witch they adjust every day (probably because of a different space they are playing at).
But, lets be more optimistic - I'd start with learning his playing style and using his tunings. Sound can come later.
Distortion with clean tone blend, low tunings. That is basically what you need to focus on. Also, your Katana is only going to do so much at 60 watts.
In order to achieve any tone that sounds anything close to Meshuggah, you must travel to the top of a mountain at an undisclosed location. There you will find a wizard holding the first bass guitar ever made. If you are worthy he will teach you the way.
Tuning up will never result in the same tone as tuning down. The slower, heavy sounding oscillations come from a string that is barely tight enough to keep tension at tuning. If you are tuning up a half step from standard your tone is no doubt very bright without any low end beef. His lowest F is an octave lower than your low F. This is the same difference between a guitar and a bass, but the guitars in Meshuggah are lower than a standard 4 string bass so we need to go even lower. It is not an easy task. Good luck!

He only goes Uber low for like 1 song on Immutable right... I think Bb and F are the bottom strings on his main bass.
Play with tone and distortion, sometimes less is more when it comes to gain to get an aggressive tone...
