Metal man looking for beautiful voluminous D-class amp.

If it is their first amp, do you think it will make it to distributions in Denmark? Or could one expect a limited supply?
Darkglass are from your neck of the woods or a sailboat ride away!

You should have a look at Barefaced. They ship very reasonably from UK. They have cabs optimised for dispersion along with being very loud when hit with powerful amps and quite faithful to the amp signal.

Your current cab can get quite loud but the 4x10 format shoots your mid tone at your knee level. Out in the room there is a hot zone of that tone right in front but to the sides it is very much wooly bass. Poor dispersion. Barefaced website has good information on this.

Virtually any amp with enough power plus a pedal will get you tone but cab is the most important.

That's neither my price range or the class I am looking for. Sorry

Yeah, I'd suggest another GK product, the MB800, for something closer to what you're after.

I just ordered a Mesa D-800 FWIW, I wanted something different from GK. It will be used mostly for metal. I'll have my hands on it soon so will give you a heads up when I manage to put it through its paces.

Sounds awesome! Please do so. I ended up buying a ebs Fafner II on accident... haha. But i definitely would like some info on alternatives. That always cool
