Just saw 'em monday night with clutch and graveyard. F'in killer show! My ears are still ringing a bit.

The bassist from the sword was also playing a Squire vintage vibe 50's P-bass too! Just killer tone the entire time, out of every band all night.

Yeah I love his P. Sounds like quite the show there.

Just got the word that The Sword is playing up my way in January... They've never really been my thing (I have many other go-to stoner bands), but for $10, its hard to say no. Especially when most of the shows up here are either underground hardcore shows, jam bands, or hip-hop acts (all of which are great fun, but stoner/doom is my sound of choice).

The last band like this we had around here was Dead Meadow in April, that was an amazing show.

I've got to be in a certain mood to listen to metal. I don't care much for black metal or death metal.

Slipknot All hope is gone. Has some good moments but really nothing new. The song "Snuff" is very good as is the second track.

All that Remains. Kind of a mix of albums on my MP3 player. I really like the track "And Death in my Arms".

Lamb of God, Sacrement. Heard the song "Redneck" on a metal mixer and loved it.

Always liked Deftones ( does that count?) and have been watching alot Metapocalypse. Dethkok, most brutal metal band ever.

Finally! I thought I was alone on this one, shogun is the best metal I've listened to since I discovered meshuggah a while back.

I really liked Shogun and its definitely metal I've been enjoying lately. Quit a bit really, its monopolizing my metal listening time.

I just saw Baroness with Genghis Tron and Bison b.c. last week. Absolutely ****ing killer show.

Oh yeah, Bison and Baroness tear it up live. Masa got so worked up at the Vancouver show at Pat's Pub the other week that he punched his bass through the ceiling tiles. Baroness were killer as well- they nail the sound of their albums, dynamics included. As for Genghis Tron, well... not my cup of tea.
