Mid-High Range Amp

I'm looking for a Mid-High Range Amplifier. I play a lot of jazz and rock and need a reasonably powered amp for about 500 dollars.
Any Suggestions?

"High range" for bass amps, price wise, is something like $1500 and up. "Mid range" could be anything, but I'd say it's between $750 and $1500. $500 is a budget amp. That said, you can get a lot of amp for that money on the used market. Trevorus is right that a used GK RB would fit the bill for you pretty well.

So you're looking for a 250-300W combo that costs no more than $500. Maybe an older used SWR, Ampeg, or Peavey?

you could probably get a used LMII for 500

Also consider a used Trace; very clean sounding for Jazz and will rock like a big dog IMO
